What i think about what Robert is saying is that no that is not true, because not only because you have a journal your goning to have a better life. It all matters on how you live your life and what you do to to keep your gratitude up.

a grey film smothers the southern california sky. or at least the sky that i am looking at. About a month until my 18th birthday and i feel just as lost and scared as i did when i started my teen years. as you grow you mature and it always seemed as if answers came with age. they dont. I have not one answer to any of my questions. I am 17, my name is kevin koppel, and my life is a wreck. those are my constants. those are the things i can rely on to be true at all times. Its depressing. Its cold, and not very wlecoming. im content with who and what i am, for what i understand, but there is always a feeling of doubt. i doubt my feelings, i doubt my actions, i doubt myself in every way. im a fucking manican for the whole world top gauk at and pick apart. society dresses me in the finest clothes and then strips me down for all to see me bare and naked. i am a walking advertisement for all the wrong things. fuck my face. fuck my name. The only thing that matters is that i can see. thank god for the blessing of vision, for i can see the coprruption and the depression that america desparately tries to mask. without being able to see this i would be another capitalistic bastard caught up in politics. well im not in politics, but i certainly have a voice.

I agree if you keep track of the positive rather than the negative you are bound to be more happy with your life. It's like if you naming things you hate about yourself and then naming good things about yourself.

well most people keep gratitude journal because most of the time that where they write about their private life. but most of the time its all about sadness and sorrow of what happened that day. most of the time they never write anything positive because not everyday that positive things happen to people. thats why people when they write their their journal, they rather write something sad because of how they feel rather than writeing something positive.

This guy is saying that there is a study on people that if u write in journals it will help you out.But if you don't write you will have a lot of thoughts in your head that you wont be able to show or express.

December 6, 2006 Here I am on my flight to Charlotte. The plane is not very full. I can’t believe I got lucky enough to get an exit seat (lots of leg room) and no one sitting next to me. But with no one next to me I will have to be quiet for the next 2 hours. Not having anyone to talk to will probably put quite a strain on me. I survived not talking for 2 hours. This was probably one of the nicest plane rides I have ever had. It was great to have so much room. After gathering up my luggage I headed over to Budget Rental to pick up my car. I of course purchased and economy car to save money but I asked the guy what he had for me today!! Not a Hyundai I hope. Well, he said “how would a Ford Mustang be?” I told him I had never driven a Ford but a Mustang sound mighty nice. So off to the shuttle to pick up my car. When got there the drive told me that there was no car in my space so we had to go to the main office. I figured getting a nice sports car for the economy price was too good to be true. I looked around the lot and really did not see any other “fun” cars. The manager pointed out that the Mustang was parked in the wrong spot. So after all I did get a Mustang. It is probably the sportiest car I’ve ever driven. It’s pretty cool. I especially like that is has the words MUSTANG written on the side of it – makes it easy to find in the parking lot. Last night I just got settled into the place I am staying. I went to Walmart to pick up some essentials – FOOD, had some dinner, came home and watched a little TV. Not much different than life in Athens!!! J

My opinion about having a journal is that we should have a journal but we should tear what we wrote afterward. The reason why is because when we read what we write were still going to have that anger in us. We should have a journal but we should get rid of it. Not having a journal can be bad because you are still going to holds in all your feelings and thats not good. A journal is something good to have because you cant trust anyone with your personal life.I have a journal and it benifits me alot. So in conclusion i think the best way to get rid of anger and feelings you cant let out is to write them down and then rip it. THAT WILL BE THE BEST WAY!
