It's my first day back in the office, so I got in around 9:30 am, which is a personal record in no-meeting days like this. Before having a chance to pat myself on the back, I was told that someone has been warned recently about our "office hours" by an MD...which supposedly starts "between 8:30 and 9 am"... =O How am I EVER going to do that?? So much for my New Years Resolution~~~

January, no snow and it is Ohio. On some level thats good and on other levels it's just not Ohio. First of October I began a diet and exercise program that I created myself. With a combination of vitamins, food and activity I was ablt to lose 41 pounds in 6 weeks and felt great. My metabolism returned, my energy level increased and I even had heightened sex drive. You see, I was 6'2" tall and weighed in at 357 pounds. I have heart disease in the form of an enlarged heart, two bulging discs and low visual self-esteem. I went off of my program because Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and that one went into Christmas/New Years. Now, I deceased my weight from 357 to 316 and then increased it again to 334 today. I purchased the foods I would need to make my meals and today begins the program again. For those who even read this, or care, I will give you my secret program if you email me with an interest. s.gallentine@sbcglobal.net

Yesterday was the last day of my two weeks vacation. I enjoyed every minute of it because it was almost the end of the semester. I was very lazy and I didn't feel like going to school but I had no choice. Today the first day of school was very cool because most of my class I didn;t do nothing but discuss what we did during the break. I seen most of my friends and they were dissatisfied as much as me on not going to school but they had no choice. Now most of my goal for my new year resolotion is to get good grades and graduate out of high school. My dad believes that I am hanging around with the wrong crowd which is preventing me to do good in school. But I am working hard right now and trying to do my best and prove my dad wrong that I am going to graduate. On saturday I was verysad that my Dallas Cowboys lost to the seahawks on the wild card game. They had most of the lead at the second half but our quatrback blew the game and we lost because he fumbled the ball and caused the game. But on the other side I was very happy when the lakers beat the Dallas Maverics and it brought joy in my eyes. It was a good game and the lakers stop their winning streak of 13 which also impressed many people around the country because they think that lakers are not dominant. This made my day perfect because it was a good game and the Lakers won by 3.

Caring and uderstanding a person's worth will take you a long way, by this I mean that if we value and believe in someone and know what they say and do is trustworthy of our time and energy. Then it is possible to care and do better in every endevors.

The future is meant for those who believe in the beauty of their dreams definitely because those who believe that they can make something of themselves are definitely going to achieve, and excel.

1/7/07: Woke up at normal time, ate breakfast and got ready for church. Went with Daddy to church (kid's Sunday school) had a major meltdown when it was time to leave (first time he's done that at church). Came home, I rocked him for a bit and then we played. Had a early lunch, ate well. Then we did some games at the table and afterwards watched a short video. Then played independently until naptime. Didn't sleep but rested. Got up, Daddy watched them again while Mom went out to run errands (said he was fine). Then ate dinner, he ate well. Played games and catch for awhile, then we cleaned up (he did this time, and kept saying he was excited because he was minding). Had storytime, got ready for bed and went to bed at normal time. Fell asleep within 45 minutes.
