INSANE!!!

http://www.cnn.com/2012/06/11/us/georgia-kkk-highway/index.html?on.cnn=1

gobbledegook   [gob-uhl-dee-gook] Show IPA noun language characterized by circumlocution and jargon, usually hard to understand: the gobbledegook of government reports. Synonyms gibberish, doubletalk, bosh, mumbo jumbo.

This is for the "INSANE" to "TRY"!!!:

"We're not racists," Chambers said Monday. "We just want to be with white people. If that's a crime, then I don't know. It's all right to be black and Latino and proud, but you can't be white and proud. I don't understand it."

Do We Care?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy

Today, It seems appropriate, because "we" live on Earth Planet, and probably "care" for others (or just ourselves!), to go back to the history of Democracy and reflect:

The Old Goat

Democracy (from Greek: Δημοκρατία, from δῆμος [dÄ“mos], „Masses", and κρατία [krata], „Rule", literal: Rules of the Masses) is an egalitarian form of government in which all the citizens of a nation together determine public policy, the laws and the actions of their state, requiring that all citizens (meeting certain qualifications) have an equal opportunity to express their opinion. In practice, "democracy" is the extent to which a given system approximates this ideal, and a given political system is referred to as "a democracy" if it allows a certain approximation to ideal democracy. Although no country has ever granted all its citizens (i.e. including minors) the vote, most countries today hold regular elections based on egalitarian principles, at least in theory. The most common system that is deemed "democratic" in the modern world is parliamentary democracy in which the voting public takes part in elections and chooses politicians to represent them in a Legislative Assembly. The members of the assembly then make decisions with a majority vote. A purer form is direct democracy in which the voting public makes direct decisions or participates directly in the political process. Elements of direct democracy exist on a local level and on exceptions on national level in many countries, though these systems coexist with representative assemblies. The term comes from the Greek word δημοκρατία (dÄ“mokrata) "rule of the people",[1] which was coined from δῆμος (dÄ“mos) "people" and κρατία (kratia) "rule", in the middle of the 5th-4th century BC to denote the political systems then existing in some Greek city-states, notably Athens following a popular uprising in 508 BC.[2] Other cultures since Greece have significantly contributed to the evolution of democracy such as Ancient Rome,[3] Europe,[3] and North and South America.[4] The concept of representative democracy arose largely from ideas and institutions that developed during the European Middle Ages and the Age of Enlightenment and in the American and French Revolutions.[5] The right to vote has been expanded in many jurisdictions over time from relatively narrow groups (such as wealthy men of a particular ethnic group), with New Zealand the first nation to grant universal suffrage for all its citizens in 1893. Elements considered essential to democracy include freedom of political expression, freedom of speech, and freedom of the press, so that citizens are adequately informed and able to vote according to their own best interests as they see them. The term "democracy" is often used as shorthand for liberal democracy, which may include elements such as political pluralism; equality before the law; the right to petition elected officials for redress of grievances; due process; civil liberties; human rights; and elements of civil society outside the government. Democracy is often confused with the republic form of government. In some definitions of "republic," a republic is a form of democracy. Other definitions make "republic" a separate, unrelated term.[6

THATS BAD!

http://swampland.time.com/2012/06/06/gentlemen-m-i-a-what-the-loss-of-campaign-decorum-means-for-america/?xid=newsletter-daily

This is a good analysis - but "we" are going to have "BAD" days ahead for everyone, unless we get back into "DEMOCRACY" instead of some "OTHER" system that "SOME" apparently will continue to try! I find myself less "OPTIMISTIC", as I start each day - "THAT'S BAD"!

NOTHING!

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/our-political-paradox-and-why-we-cant-get-along/2012/06/07/gJQAhp0jLV_story.html?wpisrc=nl_opinions_Fri

Interesting! We know today that the Republican strategy is only to "defeat", not "compromise" which means "NOTHING' will be done for all of the others - regardless of political thinking! That's BAD for everyone! Compromise is the only way, if we want to get things done fairly and with balance! Otherwise, we will get something else - instead of DEMOCRACY!

Good writing, with good, thoughtful, thinking - I love it, keep it on the "front burner" so others can sample how civilization can work, if you want to!

Simple but Complicated!

http://campaignstops.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/06/06/no-recall/?nl=opinion&emc=edit_ty_20120606

Earth Planet "has/is/will" continue forward, regardless of the "folks" that live around our World! The "revolutions" are the "burping" of human-beings as "they" try again to smooth out the "road" to a better future, where everyone "tries" to help others as well as their own!

As our Earth Planet "shrinks", it is more and more important that only "one" leadership government be installed for Earth Planet - without "wars" or other "bad" things like "selfishness, etc.,"! That way, our "leaders" from various parts of the World, will be able to communicate, and then decide where "we" need to go - in order to make things better!

It seems "simple", as well as "complicated" - I know, but "we" just need to "Try Again" until we get it as right as we can!

My comment about this:

The Planet Earth has been populated, over centuries, to the point where the "LEADERS'', over there own COUNTRIES, know need to UNDERSTAND that our Earth, NOW needs help for EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, in order to WORK BETTER!

Another Way!

"Better stop short than fill to the brim. Oversharpen the blade, and the edge will soon blunt. Amass a store of gold and jade, and no one can protect it. Claim wealth and titles, and disaster will follow. Retire when the work is done. This is the way of heaven."
- Tao Te Ching
