Still Wondering!

When I was a "young" classmate in school, "we" used to look at these things, and "wonder" - now I am an "old" classmate, still in school, and still "wondering"!

Balance Back To Middle?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/28/health-care-dissent_n_1634514.html?igoogle=1 With "fresh thinking" from my own, Old Goat's mind - some thoughts: 1. Hitler, and some of it's "leaders" tried to "change the world" the way "they" wanted - when it would not change that way, for many "others"! 2. These "four" Supreme Court judges are not in "tune" for most folks in our USA - it's just not right for humans that live in Earth Planet to not "care" about "others"! 3. There are "ringleaders" from the more conservative side of our USA government, and some others outside government, that are trying to "change the world" the way "they" want - when it will not change that way, for most "others"! 4. Back in earlier times, Governor Wallace, of The State of Georgia, decided to "change his thinking" - there are many other folks now, that have a chance, this November, to "change their thinking" so the "votes" will show that "we" have balanced "us" back into the thoughtful, thinking "phase" where "things can work out better for everyone"! -The Old Goat-

Fascinating Beyond Understanding!

http://campaignstops.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/06/25/a-short-history-of-presidential-politicking/?nl=opinion&emc=edit_ty_20120626

A could "nod" about this "...Short History..." that Gil Troy wrote - I am also reading "The Presidents Club" with interest! For me, the "cycles" around "everything" about our Earth Planet and "everything" that lives on it, or in it, including the "hot core" that also "lives" within it too - are fascinating beyond "understanding" for - My Old Goat's Mind!

It is just the way that our "futures" can be built - GOOD or BAD "thinking", this was a "good" one!

The trial sent a sobering message to church officials and others overseeing children around the country.

"I think that bishops and chancery officials understand that they will no longer get a pass on these types of crimes,€ said Nicholas P. Cafardi, a professor of law at Duquesne University, a canon lawyer and frequent church adviser. €œPriests who sexually abuse youngsters and the chancery officials who enabled it can expect criminal prosecution".

Shrinking!

http://www.washingtonpost.com/congress-should-review-policies-toward-war-crimes-court/2012/06/21/gJQAN9RgtV_story.html?wpisrc=nl_opinions

It"s Time: "...The United States is not a party to the Rome treaty and will not join anytime soon..."! Our little Earth Planet has shrunk to the point that there is not a place for anything except GLOBAL, THOUGHTFUL, THINKING - so "WE" can continue to EXIST, INSTEAD OF NOT EXISTING FOR HUMANS!

Again, and again, and again - "Civil War" just decides it is a good idea, instead of working through the process of trying again for the betterment of all in the future!

I agree - Do "you" want to put your own "oar" into the ocean of the future - or do you just not care about the "others"?

PLEASE!
Today, I am reading "The Presidents Club", another "peek" into history about how humans still have a long, long, long way - if ever - to step up the ladder to a more civilized state! I know that there are many "others" just like me - but, "we" are really getting very IMPATIENT WITH THIS STUFF from the OTHERS!

Sooner Than Later!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/16/sam-donaldson-tucker-carlson-daily-caller-obama-interrupted_n_1602526.html?igoogle=1 In the email,

Donaldson continued: Never once did I interrupt a president in any way while he was making a formal statement, a speech, honoring awardees or in any other way holding the floor. Yes, almost always when he was finished in the Rose Garden or in the Briefing Room or at a photo opportunity with other world leaders I tried to question him (only rarely was it a shout on the rope line, more often a more normal tone of voice) and other reporters of course did the same thing along with me. What this man did yesterday is something new, to me wrong and unusual. I think it is probably the result of the growing incivility of the times, the competition among reporters and news organizations to be noticed not only for the work product but for the theatrics of the gathering€and there is one more factor, let€™s face it: Many on the political right believe this president ought not to be there €“ they oppose him not for his polices and political view but for who he is, an African American! These people and perhaps even certain news organizations (certainly the right wing talkers like Limbaugh) encourage disrespect for this president. That is both regrettable and adds, in this case, to the general dislike of the press on the part of the general public. For Tucker Carlson to say that he would if he can give this man a raise for this rude attempt to interrupt the president is reflective of what I€™ve said above and, to me, lowers my opinion of Tucker.

Sam Donaldson, along with many others in our Earth Planet, (including me - The Old Goat), think about the the way "some" think and say it is OK - are NOT, and I hope more, from the "political right", will change their "positions" SOONER THAN LATER, or it may too late for everyone!

There is a "REAL",thoughtful thinking process - then there are the "NOT REAL" processes, that "MUDDY" everything until "WE" can't understand, so we just ignore everything we don't think we need to understand!
