Ok...this is the big day for my friend. He's getting ready to go back to the states in a while. He's been here in Okinawa, Japan for 2 years and 8 months. He was given a plaque today for his hard work and dedication for being a Navy Corpsman for over 3 years of experience. Seeing how he's been in for soo long. I knew this guy way before we even joined the military. Me in the USMC and him in the USN. I'm told that Marines are supposed to be like brothers to each other. But seeing how we really treat each other. My friend...let me put it this way. My best friend, who's in the Navy introduced me to a lot of people who I never thought that I would ever be friends with in the Navy. He's the only one who I can call my familiy. We'd always had each others backs. Drinking buddies, always hanging out, and we'd always seem to see eye-to-eye. And for that,there might be another timeagain when wemight meet again...eventually.Probably when we get out. Who knows. I can't really predict the future all the time.Supposedly speaking. There's been some good times and some bad. But me and him always got through it together. He's like my ghetto ass big brother, and I'm like his punk little brother. I had enough with this right now. Hey, what's up. The name's Luther. I'm in the United States Marine Corps. I'm from Miami, Florida, but living in Hollywood, Florida as of now. *Yes, there's a Hollywood in Florida*. I get that alot from people. I'm stationed in Okinawa, Japan for two years. The day I leave this rock is September 21, 2008. I have two brother and three sisters. I'm the oldest of my siblings and the first to come into the military. I do have a tendency to get crazy when I'm drunk most of the time, but you can find me chill as hell on a rare occasion. I like skating, playing the guitar, taking pictures of places I've never been before in my life. And especially hangin out with my friends from home. Right now I'm at the process of taking up surfing as a sport. I'm constantly on my computer when I'm really bored and have nothing better to do. I love to play the Bass Guitar (Fender). Going out to Aventura Mall to watch a movie or nag my lil sis at her job. Jk Getting paid makes my day. Girls should be first on this list... Starbucks, American Eagle Clothes (shopping), whenever I think of something constructive or destructive I can do around in my room. I like nagging the hell out of my room-mate. Goin' out to party and get drunk on the weekends. Listening to music. Playing my guitar. Hanging out with the Navy Corpsman all the time. Most of them are like my real good friends.
