I work in a�fast food place. I wonder why some people think they have more power than you when the two are in the same position. I am talking about a person i work with and tho she is older than me, we both have the same title and job at work but for some reason she thinks she can overrule everything I say or do when I am the one who does more and works more productively. It makes me mad how she does and I don't think she is right by doing that. I have brought this to the boss man's attention and he acted as if he was going to do something about it, but he hasn't and she brings him a pepsi soda everyday. She kisses his a$$. It just so irritates me how she does but no one will do anything about it. Like today, one of our busiest days of the year and she wants to put our crew members doing dishes during our peak time. I said no, they need to be over here working the grill for us. I said dishes can wait and we do them at the end of the shift. She said well I am not doing them all. I said its not your job, let someone else do them at the end. She said no one will do them and you want do them. I said no I can't do them, everytime I try to help the boss hollers at me to get back making orders cause no one else can do it. She made me mad. I am they kind of person who wants to get my food and get my orders done. Cleaning up and dishes can wait til the end of the shift, its not a priority for me to do dishes during busy time. Its just wrong the way I see it. She is so backwards. I just don't get them people. I like my job some days and Most of the time I wish I had a better crew of people to work with. They make you hate your job most days and I do not like feeling that way. I want another job to get away from that, but I have got some years in the company and I think something should be done about them, but as long as I am not kissing anyone's a$$, no one will see things my way. It sucks.
