Moving on

Don't understand what is going on in my desktop since the font changes to an un readable font at start up.

Brookelodge with the usual crew today. We have the crossbeams on and should be completing the roof tomorrow please God

A bit frustrating in the morning when Donohues don't have the mail so I didn't bother with it and bought the tribune in the way home and sent €30 donation to CBM

Badger wasn't as annoying today.Yer man from Abbert (Flaherty)was with us today along with the other chap who had the terrier.

No sign of any one coming over to install in the solenoid.wonder what will I do.I'm waiting nearly two weeks now.

Did another bit with the scratch on the Punto but it will want another bit of paint.Hope that I have it done by Saturday and that it works out ok.
Amazing how a small error can cause so much hassle.Any way I will probably never drive it again.

Wet and soggy

Brooke lodge again today. It was raining for a lot of the time but we got most of the rafters on the shed.
Badger is getting on my nerves a bit with his strange antics like yesterday. My front teeth are still sore after he hit me with the top of the spade handle but I don't think that it is too serious..Well they were always a bit thick in Turloughmor.I will have to do a bit of retaliation to get him off my back.Austin as well

The big talking point today was yesterday's draw with Russia and how Ireland defended to the death.I hope things turn out well for them.Slovakia might be able to do us a favour and beat the Russians

Nobody has come to instal the solenoid switch on the tractor after Gabriel promising me.I wonder what is going on

I haven't paid my car tax yet..I might wait another day in case I hopefully get a nice surprise or is it only wishful thinking.Remembewr God's ways are not our ways and God's timing is always perfect.

The mail had not arrived in Donohues in the morning so I just didn't bother getting it on my way home even though I puled into Donohues on my way home.

Did not get around to the car scratch because it was wet.Hopefully tomorrow.

Keep going anyway

Missed a few days. That was because I was too busy or too annoyed and frustrated. The vibes here are not healthy or blissful.

Will be back in a while.Just going to see "reeling in the years 2006 i think"

No the Summer schedule is over. The six one news is an hour long from now on.

Had a busy day last Saturday. The cow came bulling ,fencing etc...Oh and doing the scratch repair on the punto.Hope to get it finished soon weather permitting.
Yesterday was quiet except for the hurling All-Ireland.The cats are back on top again after ousting Tip.I was hoping their strangle hold would be broken after last year but No.Tipp gave them a good run for their money but their passing and accuracy let them down in the end.It was a tight marking match but you have to say Killenny's hurling excellence shone through.

Galway won the minor final with much to spare. Will this spur on the seniors next year? That doesn't seem to follow through as we have too often seen.

We were in Brooke lodge this morning. The usual crew.We resumed the block wall.after lunch the rain came down as forecasted. We strayed in the shed and went home a little earlier than usual.
I did a little shopping in Abbey on the way home.

Nothing happening in Ryehil. The little calf seem to be ok.

Joyce Meyers book came from Amazon.Hope I get a good chance to read it.

Well today is quiz day.Brain of Britain,University challenge,Only connect.I do look forward to them.
Went into Galway on Saturday night.here was a smaller then usual crowds in the pubs.Still nice though.

Unfinished

Ryehill as usual.Got the calf in,tagged and dehorned(went a bit hard on the poor devil) no bother.Cant say the same for the rest. They went out as far as Joe killarney's and luckily I got to the before they were able to go into Tomas Mahon's garden. When they were near Sonny killarney turned them back fair play.No hard feeling over the horse.

Spent the rest of the day setting up the fence after buying meal and pegs in Mcgiverns.

No sign of Melody after Gabriel said he would tell him to call with the solenoid.

I was about to do the barbed wire fence but it came raining so i did a bit of greasing on the tractor and topper.

Had hoped to start topping tommorow.I got the calf registered and the weanlings in for meal feeding.I need a bit of money soon.

The euro qualifier did nothing to elevate the national mood after a 0-0 draw with Slovakia.I looks improbable but not impossible that they are going to qualify. It would take anear miracle in Moscow..But they do happen.Well i suppose God doesnt really care who wins or loses. They are two imposters in any case as the Kipling's poem says

bit by bit

Dont want to talk about yesterday.I was just so annoyed and frustrated about everything.Anyway
Great spell of weather we are having.I suppose we must always be thankful for what we have instead of complaining.
The solenoid is not fixed yet.
The heifer calved yesterday.Must bring them in tomorrow for tagging and dehorning Please God.The cows seem to have a cough.Nicky noticed that as well when he was over today.I don't know why but he was outside the house with his two sons when I went down after dinner. We had a look for the calf .Nicky seemed more concerned than me about him.He feared that he could have stumbled into the drain as the mother was not looing.I knew he was ok even though we scoured the field searching.
When they went i resumed the erection of the electric fence.
It wasn't such a pleasant task but I did manage to free the wire.I tested it and it seems ok.
When i looked at the stock again there was the calf sucking the mother's milk.I phone Nicky in case he was coming over again especially to look again.
I didn't,t get the barbed wire on.Tommorow Please god.

Must renew my car tax online as it is out today. Was thinking of going into the office in Galway and visiting the motor store as well for the scratch paint but I may be too busy

Busy but not satisfied

Had a bit of a sleepless night last night.I got up and tuirned on the tv.Dr Phil was on.The show was about one of the usual topics
marital infidelity. He had some ladies on who were having extra marital affairs. They seemed fairly intelligent and composed.I wonder why they do such things.I suppose it creates audience interest anyway and that what Dr Phil is all about..I hope nobody including myself will be influenced or follow their example.

After watching more of Dr Phil this morning I cycled to Ryehill.Their wasn't any cow bulling today. It was a nice day on the bike.I went up Johnny Burkes hill on my way home.I would love to build a house there some day please God.

After the dinner I drove to Brogan's in Tuam for the weight frame for the Tractor. It was still on the tractor when I went down but they had it off in fifteen or twenty minutes. It cost 100 euros.I might not fit it until I start feeding the cattle next winter.
No luck in the Tuam motor factors.I hoped the would have a pen for the scratch on the punto.I will try the Galway Motor store next time I go to see Des.

Didn't do much after coming home. The touvh pen that i bought on Ebay came and i tried it out.It might want a few doses.

I dug up more of the new spuds in the garden. They should be nearly all dug out by now.they are tasty. It nice to know they are organic anyway
The quotation from the Garden Designer came.I could well run into 7 or eight thousand euros.I would like to get the paths and fronyt paved.i hate the sight of the old path every rtime I come in the small gateen .I will show it to mary when she comes out in the weekend

Success ,failure and fustration

I returned Austin's missed call first thing. It was about going up to KIllimoredaly hall for the unveiling of the stone seat.Kathleen Cannon had been in touch with him on Sunday but it didn't really appeal to me or him either.Had a bit of luck in the morning. The cattle went in fairly easily and I dosed them all except the incalf heifeer. When I let the back out I notice the old cow and the young heifer were buling so i brought them in one at a time.

I took out the solenoid after dinner and brought it to Lyons. He had no replacement t so He said to clean the rust of it and see if it would work .
Oh I met Quirk and paid him for the bales.8 Euros a bale.A bit dear i thought. It all came to 700 Euros.I gave him a check.after coming home.I must try around next year and see if Gilligan or any other one is any cheaper

Mike Hynes came around three and we serviced the two beasts.

Then I had a few problems with rewiring the solenoid so I rang Gabriel a few time to see but to no avail. It seems to get worse with the starter stayed spinning.I hope that Peter Melody will come and fit a new one next Wednesday sometime. The tractor maybe still under guarantee.
I transferred the money to my current account from the deposit account.i don't want to let it slip below 1000 Euros.
Also I remembered to give my monthly partnership to Awme.

Tired and unfocused

Was in Galway to see Des. after getting the cattle dose and repairing the fence in Ryehill.Had a mishap with the Punto reversing into Mary's driveway.. A Slight
scratch on the rear door.Wasn't looking where I was going.I felt too tired to drive anyway but what could I do.She wouldn't drive herself. That is the thanks you get.Des seemed mediocre.I noticed how like he is to granddad(his dad).He knew me.Maura was there when I arrived but she didn't stay long..
I did a bit of shopping on the way home.
Went out the Tuam Road to see Loftus about the scratch. He said it was minor but if we wanted he would repaint the whole door for 100 euros.I ordered a repair pen on e bay. With the scratch remover it might do the job.Fingers crossed please God
Came home stressed as usual.Fell asleep during meditation.
I don't know about going out.Still feel tired and groggy
Bought two books on Amazon about getting wealthy and Joyce meyer book on recovering from abuse Beauty from Ashes.

Must read them immediatly when they arrive.

Same again

I went to Brookelodge like yesterday..We started the wall foundation(a job that we could have done yesterday.)I don't know is it me or Austin who is to blame.I suggested that we do it but Austin was lethargic and said to wait.We didn't get any further than the foundation even with all hands on deck.

Jackie (the boss) got us to look at an electric fence. It was unfix able for us anyway and she dreaded the thought of having to buy a new one.The credit crunch must be biting.however when she went to Flynn's they said they would send it away for repair and gave her a replacement for the time being.

We didn't do much after dinner like yesterday.I sat in the car a while and rang around for the weight frame.I dozed off for a while after three.I hope that nobody noticed.
I was home around 4.30.I will have to postpone the dosing until tomorrow because it was wet and I was a bit tired.

I eventually found the weight frame in Brogans in Tuam (Austin suggestion)for 100 euros.I suppose it would be the same thing as going up to Kells in Meath

undecided

Today we were in Brooke lodge(Mickey,Austin,Divilly and Badger)

We finished the wall that Mickey and Austin had started on Tuesday

Mickey got a call at lunchtime to go to monivea with badger(who is getting on my nerves with his old capers)

Myself and Austin were unable to go out after lunch because of a heavy thunder shower. We had one big blast of lightning that sent a flash from the wall a few feet from where Austin was sitting. We found out later that it had knocked a telephone off the wall inside in the office .

I(t clared a became quite sunny after an hour or so but we still could not do any thing because the gate was locked where we had to get some stones for the foundation. That was according to Austin any way.

We left a bit early around 4.30.i pulled into Donoghues to do bit of shopping. That took around twenty minutes.

There was a heifer in the site when i checked the cattle .Don't know how she e broke in because it is well fenced.I will have to get some stakes as well as the pour on dose tomorrow please God.

Watched "reeling in the years "(2000) as usual and did a wee bit of gardening after the dinner.

I viewed an interesting program on the channel 4 site about Edward and Mrs Simppson. It seems that some new evidence about the affair was discovered by a lady journalist Ann Seeba that Mrs Simpson didn't care about Edward because she really wanted her own husband. He seemed to be the culprit in the relationship.

This is the week of the Rose of Tralee. That kind of atmosphere seems to be around.I was just saying to Austin today that pete would be below in Tralee instaed of working this week if he was still around..

Austin is a bit self centered. He sometimes wants his own way be it is right or wrong.

I still regret paying 88 euros to Lyons to change the oil in the tractor when i could have done it myself for the price of the oil filter.I must not have been thinking straight.Help us to think and to pray Oh Lord
