...... Rob: Harry, when you purchase a hairdryer - it states on the item it is a 1500 watt item. All I am looking for is What is the power consumtion for the device when it is plugged into the USB - How much power does it need to operate while plugged into the USB? Harry: Sir, please be inform that magicJack barely used up or consume power when you plug it into a USB port. Rob: I know that consumes very little power, that's why it's rated in milliAMPs (mA) - I am just trying to figure out how many mA it does use - My USB is set up to supply 500mA per USB port - but for some reason the magicjack does not stay on after 3 seconds or so. This is a random thing because it did work for about 2 weeks then the computer was restarted and now I can't get it to start. Rob: I also know that there is a program that runs where my CD is located (YMAX) this is no longer on my computer - I believe something happened and now the whole porgram is messed up - is there a way to reinstall the porgram from the start - I think I am missing files. Harry: My apologies but we cannot figure out how many miliampers does magicJack have. Harry: Please unplug your magicJack for 15 seconds and plug it back into a USB port. Rob: Yes, done that for the last 5 days - It's not being recognized - I've tried just about everything - but like I said, the YMAX part of the program is missing. Harry: Please click the link to download and run the magicJack upgrade (applicable for both XP & Vista): Harry: http://upgrades.magicjack.com/upgrade/upgrade.exe Harry: Please run that upgrade. Rob: Did that, do I need to restart after the download? Harry: Yes, please do
