                          • Can I keep entries private? Is it secure and readable only to me?
                          •
Absolutely. InboxJournal.com takes your privacy seriously. We know that some stuff you write only for yourself. So your password and private entries are encrypted when they are inputted into our system. Only when you log-in and access them, do your posts become readable or downloadable. Why might you care? Most sites don't bother to do this, and simply save your entries into a database, where they can be readable to the site administrators or potential hackers. Our system gives extra peace of mind that no one is reading your private posts except for you.

                          • Can I grant certain users access to my private journals?
                          •
Yes. This is a great way to share your posts with a smaller, trusted group. First, add the user as a friend (find their profile on the site, and click "Add as friend"). Once they've approved you as a friend, you can grant them private access through the "My Home" section of the site. Under your private journal URL, click the "edit access" link. They'll then be emailed a URL where they can view your private posts.
